I'm glad the Bible makes us squeamish and that there's too much information. If God helps rakish slovenly Falstaffian types then he'll help me. I wish there were more things like: "Peter belched loudly and said, 'I tell you I know not the man.""Jesus wept", but maybe Jesus also had a spit take. Shakespeare would have put something like that in there.
I imagine the Church as a Burning Man. A-Institutional, just people determined to act connectionally and lovingly in kindness without judgment.
